Last fall I was working with someone who would often blow up in destructive and violent ways whenever feeling misunderstood or that her desires were not being validated (I think validation is so important). She said she learns best with Q&A flash cards. This short (about 8 minutes) video is of the cards I developed. They did prove helpful to the person for whom they were designed, and I share the video with the hope that the content of the cards may be helpful to others. I also have it in Powerpoint format which I am glad to share, and at some point I would like to publish the actual cards and make them available to a wider audience.
