The leadership styles are the same as adopted by the Governments of different nations. These include: Dictatorship/Autocratic , which is based on one man;s rule all others have to obey his orders.,(2) Democratic style as per which the work is distributed amongst the people almost equally, (3) Anarchy style as per which every body wants to do the work of his/her choice and can leave it incomplete anytime in midway. The present day public service or bureaucracy is basically based on autocratic style. The boss is the supreme and whatever he does is only correct anything done by others is just useless. Other styles are not adopted in public service. Although , other style like Work oriented Boss(9.1) who cares only for the work and has no love left for the employee,or People oriented (1.9) who takes maximum care of employee even if the work is suffered to some extent or (5.5) style who takes equal care of men and the work. But, such styles are not adopted in public service these days. References :
